DO NOT rent here...seriously

I've only lived here for a little over three months...and dread staying here until our lease is up. I've rented 3 other apartments before making the huge mistake of living here and this is by far the worst.
The management seems really caring and nice...until after you move in. After that...they couldn't care less about you. It is way over priced. It looks like you are getting your moneys worth by first impression, but you will regret living here, I promise.
Our first two weeks here...we had to call the police not once...not twice...but three different times because we saw "suspicious" people wondering around the parking lot at night breaking into cars and stripping them. Luckily the third time they got caught...but that was after people's things were already stolen. Our second month we had to call the police because of a huge party going on. I'm usually someone who isn't bothered by this...everyone wants to have a good time. But there were people throwing up on the stairs...breaking beer bottles against the walls behind where the cars were parked, playing loud music until 2 am...and skate boarding right next to the cars...setting off car alarms.
If you need maintenance done on ANYTHING...you have to call first thing Monday morning to get them out there by the end of the week. Luckily, we haven't needed maintentance in our apartment except for one time to have the toilet repaired (the chain kept breaking and the toilet wasn't flushing)...I called them on Friday afternoon and they didn't come until the following Thursday. They have done TWO "inspections" since we moved in...but I never saw them actually "inspect" anything. The first time...it was two different groups of people walking around my apartment for a few minutes...the second time they came in while I was in the freakin shower. It creeps me out to know that even though they can HEAR the shower going, they would still linger around in my apartment. And when they left...they left my front door unlocked.
Let's not forget to mention the homeless people that wander around the parking lots and dig through the dumpsters. There are literally people who get into the dumpster...you have to watch out for them when you throw your trash away.
Now for bugs...
SPIDERS...EVERYWHERE! You have to be careful walking on the sidewalks...they build their webs right across...and we aren't talking tiny little harmless spiders...we're talking quarter size or bigger. And they infest the storage closets and balconies/patios. They are everywhere. We've killed a few in the cabinets and showers. Sewer bugs as well...coming up out of the kitchen sink at night. Baking soda doesn't work so don't waste your time.
There is only one ac unit...and if you run it, even just a little...your electricity bill will be SKY HIGH. And during the summer...you'll need it b/c leaving your windows open only lets hot air in and trust me...it's cooler outside than it is inside.
The walls are paper thin...we can hear our neighbors having sex at night. Or going to the bathroom. Or taking a shower. Or closing their patio doors or opening and closing windows.
The pool...yeah it's nice...so is the hot tub. They give you a key to the pool gate...but you won't need it. They leave it unlocked and there are people who don't live here that come and drink their beer and are obnoxious and loud...so don't think about relaxing in the hot tub...it won't happen.
They hire people to come trim the trees and bushes and what not...but they come at unreal hours in the morning. So don't worry about sleeping in either...on the weekends OR during the weekdays if you get the luxury...it won't happen. All you will hear is lawn mowers, leaf blowers and people talking loudly at 6 or 7 am.
Parking is a joke if you have more than one vehicle and only one assigned parking spot. Most nights we have to park a block away.
That's all I can think of for right now...but I know there is tons more. Even if you don't take my advice in NOT moving here...if you decide to, sign a 3 month or month to month lease to test it out before you get suckered in like me...
Oh yeah...they have a 6 weeks of rent free...but they tried to get away with making us pay full price the first month until we went down there and physically showed them and after a small arguement...we got our way...but it shouldn't have been that difficult! Rhonda is the only decent person down there. Don't make the same mistake we did...this place SUCKS!!!

I agree with you, this is the worst apartment complex I have lived in and still have many months to go. I am gonna talk to my roomie and see if we should just cancel the lease. This place has gone to ----.
The walls are thin as hell, I hear my neighbor peeing all the freaking time and watching TV. The people below me have parties and my floor vibrates and stuff falls off my dresser because of them. People have their friends over and even though we live here there is NO WHERE to park!! The apartment manager tells me one thing then someone else in there says "whoever told you that was wrong" I mean WTF? The manager told me herself, then we get a notice on the freaking door right after I talk to them!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate this place, it is the worst place in the world. DO NOT move here unless you want a horrible experiance.
