Waterleaf Apartments

Ok I have been reading all the negative reviews about Waterleaf & decided it was time to investigate a little. We haven't lived here long but we did have a bad experience to begin with....I went today & put in a work order & was assured it would be done in 24 hours. I also asked to meet the manager. I met the manager & the leasing manager, both of who were very friendly & answered my questions. I believe my questions were answered honestly...We are all human & do make mistakes. The ladies in the office were friendly & helpful also...I see that a lot of reviews were done from May through July...During that time the manager was out on maternity leave & someone was filling in..You can't hold that against the manager. I suggest that those who are upset & bitter try again to meet the manager & staff & tell them how you feel. Try to find a way to fix the problems so you have a nice, pleasant atmosphere to call home...I did this mainly because I have a 13 month old grand daughter living here & I want to do all I can to make it safe for her....

Wait till you've been there for several months. You'll start to see what I saw. By the way, it shouldn't matter whether the Mgr. is on leave and a fill in is acting in her place. There is this thing called STANDARDS which should set the ground for anyone and everyone. So, I guess what you're implying is that whenever there is a new Mgr. or a fill in, that's an excuse for them to perform poorly and be ignorant to the to problems the tenants complain about? I DON'T THINK SO! FOR WHAT THEY ARE CHARGING, I EXPECT MORE!

I agree with OSHENBREEZE...just because the manager was not here, does not mean it is not her responsibility to make sure whoever is filling in for her is fulfilling her duties.

I'm curious if that work order ever got completed. Because mine never was. I told them that the light in front of our door is out. I reported the problem on Sunday June 15th. The lady in the office said not a problem it would be done within 24 hours. Well, the whole week went by and the light wasn't still working. Went back the following Sunday June 22 to tell them they work order was not completed and about the shooting. They apologized and said it would get done the next day. Both times paperwork was never filled out. When I asked the lady in the office about that she said they don't do any invoices they write it down in the log. Well the light never got fixed and I learned from the maintanence guy they never got a work order. He says the ladies in the offices never properly do the work orders.
