Waterleaf Apartments

This place sucks.... From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 7/23/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008 1 response   If you are planning to move in, don't. My husband and I have been here for almost a year and will be leaving soon...thank god. The place is horrible. The ladies in the office never know what is going on, they just say that the manager is busy and will call you. So you end up leaving your name and number like 10 times just to get a brief call back before she hangs up on you. When we decided to get a puppy we had no idea we would be paying 400 just to put her on our lease...the 25 monthly isn't that bad. When we upgraded our apartment from 1 to 2 bedroom, it took longer than expected because they wanted a few thousand just to pull the switch, and when I went in to get the keys to the new place, they told me I couldn't without that money. They never told us that before. The pool by the office is kept nice, but only because new residents see that and think they are both that way. But the other is always filthy and has trash floating in it. They do not have a security team, as they claim, I know of several cars that have been broken into and nothing is done from the management to help get it reported. The dumpsters always have people, bums, going through them for cans, bottles, etc. Some of the residents are nice, but others are just plain crazy. I wouldn't recommend this place if I had to. There are always bugs in the units, and when you report it to the office, they say they will call the exterminator, but he never comes. The police are always here, for something. Somebody got shot at, or someone jacked someone's car and dumped it here. It's just not a good environment, especially if you have kids. DO NOT MOVE HERE!! You'll hate it.
