A little motel-ish, but decent and comparatively cheap. All units here are 1-br and basically your run-of-the-mill kind of apartments. You can hear through the walls and when people walk past your front door. Lack of guest parking makes things more difficult for visitors. Management is very friendly and responsive, though (and this makes a big difference), and there's a great view of Mount Diablo from my bedroom window. Plus it's close to downtown Walnut Creek and 24/680 access is a breeze. Washers and dryers are also good and are promptly repaired if they break.
