Nice to be close to downtown, but management #$@%

We have gone throurgh serveral 'managers' since I have been here. The latest is by far the worst. The installed batery operated smoke alarms, with the cheapest batteries possible. They lasted a month and a half before my smoke alarm started 'beeping' because the battery was going dead.
I rented 'storage' down in the parking garage. Water seeped in an ruined everything. Mostly winter clothes and books. Water and mildew. I could hardly stomach the smell to sort through what was ruined. Managements simply said the contract stated that they were not responsible for any damage. I could understand if the damage was due to theft or vandalism, but not from water damage from the concrete, (probably due to bad sprinkler drainage outside, as it was summer.)
My recommendation, stay away. There are plenty of nice places on the same block. uWDgQKY3Vkv8FKIsB8Ax
