Great Value, AWESOME Management

I share the frustrations with other posters that this complex is somewhat dated and not as upscale as Montecito or Regent On The Park (which were built more recently though). I'd love it if the interior paint wasn't just stark white, if the apts and gym were more updated, and if the pool was a few degrees warmer (it is heated though). Other than that, it's wonderful. But--a 1 bedroom here is (currently) around $1400-1700, while elsewhere is $1700-2400! For the location and amenities, as well as service, the value is unsurpassable.

I have lived here from 12/05-current thus far, and haven't ONCE heard a thing from anyone here about car thefts, safety, or neighbor noise. I'm amazed by the quietness actually, given the layout of the building. I've lived at a few properties around WC and have felt safest here.

I have been talking to the onsite property manager about my current need for a larger space, and have been helped above and beyond anything expected with trying to accommodate. She (Michelle) and maintenance have been incredibly personable, caring, immediate, and available every time I've brought up any needs or concerns. I've had a few minor maintenance issues which were resolved within hours or at most a day.

Anyone who says otherwise may just as well have some sort of chip on their shoulder or a misunderstanding in their experience. As much as I'd like to be in a slightly more upscale place, for the value and primarily for the service I receive, it's hard to consider going elsewhere. Hopefully it'll work out for me to stay another year or so until I can afford to buy a place.

I HIGHLY recommend Alpine Park to anyone considering this area. I rarely ever post reviews but felt compelled to do so from how appreciative I've felt living here, and how misconstrued some of the other posts seem. It's hard to find both great value and service these days, so I enjoy appreciating it when I receive it.

Many Thanks Michelle and Chewy! (hope I spelled your names right)--Shalini
