Well, I submitted a review more than 6 months ago sharing my complete satisfaction with Bay Landing. I did, however, acknowledge that new lease terms have not come up yet and that I would have to wait and see if 'ever increasing rent' is a common practice by the management.

I'm happy to report that I am in the process of resigning a 6 month lease for the SECOND time because management has been more than accomodating! When my 1 year lease was up, I called the office about new leasing terms and they returned with an offer almost $100 less than what I was paying. I signed on for another 6 months - and here I am again 6 months later discussing lease terms. I called them today and asked if we could maintain the same terms (rental rate) if I resigned for another 6 months and without hesitation they agreed, despite the fact that their renewal letter reflected a higher rate.

To this day, 1.5 years later, I have no complaints about Bay Landing. There is always some guest parking available, I can do laundry whenever I want IN my apartment, and it's peaceful and quiet. The grounds are beautiful, the neighbors friendly, and the leasing staff professional (which is much more than I can say for Archstone). I even recently enjoyed a holiday party hosted by the complex; I enjoyed good food and met some more neighbors.

I highly, highly recommend Bay Landing. You will not find as much value for your dollar as you will here.
