I lived at Bay Landing for a year. It was probably the worst living experience I've ever endured. I specifically asked before signing the lease if the units were built well for sound proofing. I was told they were. Not long after I moved in I realized that the walls, ceilings and floors are so unbelievably paper thin that you can hear everything going on in the units surrounding you ... answering machines, conversations, everything. If you have people above you, it will seem as though a herd of cattle are roaming around above you 24 hours a day. I'm not kidding or exaggerating. If you like to listen to music or watch TV at reasonable, normal volumes, don't try it at Bay Landing. You'll have neighbors complaining about you and you will receive threatening phone calls from the office. I absolutely hated living there. As other people have noted, they will keep your deposit no matter what. You will not get it back, period. Don't bother cleaning when you move out, it won't make any difference. Stay very far, far away from Bay Landing. You'll be charged way too much for totally unacceptable living conditions.
