Just out of curiosity what were you paying before? I used my rigth to move within the first 30 days because the people there were so siesty! Especially Grace. I got the notice about them charging residents for 100% of the water. Apparently, it was per apt usage. Which I'm a single person so I didn't use much water. When I was in the office, a to let them know I was moving within my first 30 days. A resident came in furious because of the new water charging system. Grace had the nerve to lie to this man's face saying that currently they charge by square footage. That was such bologne. She told the man that the charges should not go up. It didn't even make sense. The new way is to charge 100 percent of the water divided by the number of units divided by the type of apt you're in (ie one bedroom vs studio etc). I think lying must come naturally to her. She can't even distinguish a good lie from something ridiculous. Get out of there if you can. There are way nicer properties for cheaper money. Usually you get what you pay for, but that doesn't apply to Archstone properties.
