Safety:
Just woke up this morning and found out that all the wheels of my garaged car got stolen! Telling the leasing office hoping to get some help' They did give me a police department number to call, oh, thanks a lot! So, buying a rental insurance is a MUST if you have to rent here. I am very disappointed about this apartment complex and I am moving out no matter how much the break lease fee is! (Is that how Archstone making money anyway'')

Noise:
It's very close to BART station, that's the initial reason for me to rent this place. And it's a real issue. You either close the window all day or hear BART passing by every 5 minutes during peak hours in the morning. It's your choice, but I have enough!

Maintenance:
The first day we moved in, the staff asked us to let them know if anything wrong inside the apartment. We definitely found cracks everywhere, paint off here and there, but there's nobody coming to fix it. However, when we're ready to move and want to see how much deposit can be returned to us, they said everything need to be in 'Move-In' condition! So, what does 'move-in' condition mean now' It means a perfect painted, no cracks, perfectly clean carpet.... otherwise, getting your deposit back is a dream!!
