I signed a year lease, and I wish I hadn't. There are better places to live in the bay area for less money.

First complaint: No parking.
I can't have any guests over, because they can't find any parking. We've taking to having them park at BART and walk over.

Second complaint: Maintenance Staff
I still have an open ticket from when I moved in here. Generally you have to call several times to get anything fixed. When they do send someone out, it's generally not the type of person you'd want in your home. They are shady, and I would questions if they were bonded or not. The workmanship is poor at best. I've taken to fixing problems myself in order to avoid calling them.

Third Complaint: Management Staff
When you complain about noise, they do nothing. Calling and leaving messages does NO good as they never call you back. Well, unless you're going to rent a NEW apartment, then they will call you back at the speed of light. Existing residents are nearly ignored.

Compliments:
The grounds look good, tho there's nothing special about them. The workout room is so-so, if not the smallest one I've seen in the area. The pools generally look good, and are not over run by kids.

Apartment living is rarely what people want, but there are better ones out there. It would seem that Archstone, Coit, and several other companies are just buying up these complexes and forcing good management out for ones who will make more of a profit. The key they forget about is if you take care of your existing residents, they will take care of you!

High maintenance are we? Like you couldn't see the parking lot when you toured. Duh! Million bucks says you have no idea what hard work property management is. Also, you know how California has a TON of laws? Do you know how hard it is to evict someone over noise? HARD!!! They could very well be addressing your complaint, however it takes time. What would be wrong with kids at the pool? Nothing like being cold hearted! Get a life and shut up alreay, nobody wants to hear your petty complaints!

At least they could give a fair and balanced comment without getting all bitchy. And what's this about "they COULD be addressing your complaint"? Why not just do it? If it takes so much time fixing complaints, better get your *ss started!

I'm not the one addressing the comlaints, so I don't need to get started. How is that a fair and balanced comment? Attacking the staff who is working their butts off everday? That's fair? You obviously don't work in customer service, if you work at all. What does your husband support you and you mooch off of him all the time? You don't know half the work and stress of dealing with whiney, lazy, self absorbed people such as yourself EVERYDAY! Why can't they just knock on the neighbors door and ask them to keep it down. Your adults, why do you need someone else to do it for you??? What happens if you ever own a house and these people aren't there to babysit you?

Is there really a BEE problem? Can anyone elaborate on the BEES??? I have only heard one person mention them, and I just signed a 9 month lease, and I am TERRIFIED of bees... Are they towards the very very very back of the complex by any chance?
