Archstone Walnut Creek formerly Treat Commons
< | >
I lived in another Archstone and transferred my lease here, thinking I would experience the same quality. However, I was sadly mistaken. As other posters have written, the management is horrible and rude. I too, have an outstanding reapir issue from when I moved in 11 months ago.
When I moved in, the apartment needed to be cleaned, including carpets and cupboards. They smelled like urine and I did not unpack for 3 days. Finally, they let me move into another empty apartment, but did not assist in my second move. I had to beg a repair man for a dolly.
There is no parking. I have had repeated instances of someone else being parked in my spot. I received little help from the management. Once they determined who the person was that was in my spot and had them move, they never followed up with me. I had to hound them until I caught someone in the office.
Plus, all residents pay for water, trash, and sewer. In order to determine water use, they divide the total amount used by number of residents. Living in the smallest of the 1 bedrooms, I don't have a washer/dryer, but I am paying for other people to use their washers. Plus, now I am paying 3 bucks for each load of laundry.
I will NEVER LIVE in an Archstone property again and will never let anyone I know live there. However, I must say, the Archstone Willow Glen in San Jose, was amazing. The management there warned me about the management in Walnut Creek and had heard numerous complaints.
