I have been here just over a year. In that time I have lived in 2 different units and both had problems from the get go.

From open work orders to the 4 (yes, 4) complete changes in management staff this place has the rightful reputation of being the worst run property in the area.

Parking: Impossible,
Quality of people living here: Getting worse, had a prostitution ring found in one of the units, I watched the bust myself from my balcony.
Office Staff: I've been called a liar to my face, been told that all I was is a good talker, and that no they would not help me. And yet the BEG me to stay.

Not with that attitude. There are better places to live for less than the TOP DOLLAR they want to charge here.

True, true, very true. A good management and crew can make it or break it. At Archstone Walnut Creek, they are definately not making it.

Blame Archstone as a company and feel sorry for the people in the office...it's not thier fault! I know they can lose it...thier only human - but I know these girls and you can not tell me that you weren't doing anything to make them lose it!!! BE HONEST ABOUT YOUR ACTIONS!!! no one blames you for being upset - I was that's why I left...but don't blame someone that gets constantly abused by 510 residents...

I am sorry but I do not believe you know anyone in the office exemployee55. The staff completely turns over every 3 months or so. If you were truly affiliated with Archstone-Smith, you would know this. Also, it is clear from your messages that you have never actually resided at Archstone Walnut Creek. You would be singing a very different tune if you had.

'To make them lose it.' exemployee writes. We were very patient with many of the shenanigans that go on at Archstone. Most tenants I have come in contact with while living here are patient. This is our home, we do not wish to make waves. It is only when you repeatedly ask the Archstone staff over and over and over again about increased parking, fixing things...yadda yadda...and the Archstone staff does nothing, that people/tenants get aggravated. I would love to make each and every employee that Archstone has live for 3 months at our lovely complex. During that time, I want to be the one working in the office. It will be a vacation for me as the staff virtually does nothing. I will not address their concerns or return their phone calls. I will sit on my ass in the office doing nothing. This is what they do. This is why people get aggravated and lose their temper. Its Archstone's REPEATED incompetence!!
