Fear and Loathing in Archvegas

1. Once you have parked your car into your narrow spot don't expect to be able to get back into it again unless you are able to shimmy across a drain pipe and do a triple back flip into your sun roof.
2. Even on the days that you are able to shimmy across a drain pipe and do a triple back flip into your sunroof and you are able to leave the mess that is Archstone, don't be surprised if upon your return, another person/tenant/a-hole decides to park in your assigned spot. If that happens you get to go try and find (good luck-you will need it)off street parking and then report it to the leasing office, who then, in true Archstone fashion, do nothing.
3. If you do own more than 1 car or if you happen to have any friends that you would like to come for a visit, you might as well forget about that right now. There is absolutely no place for them to park.
4. Where is Sally Struthers when you need her' My bathroom is as sanitary as a Third World country. Plumbing issues-showers/sinks leaking every time you turn them on. Dirty water cascading from the sink into cabinets, dirty puddles on the floor. The shower overhead valve pouring dirty water from the air conditioning duct on top of your head as you shower. Archstone coming out and out again and again to attempt to fix it. Keep saying they did. Yet its not fixed.
5. The staff at Archstone is extremely unhelpful and could care less about the residents. I think all they do all day long is eat the Clubhouse cookies and drink the Clubhouse coffee. Nothing is EVER taken care of. The staff is extremely unprofessional, untrained and ill-prepared.
6. The washers and dryers are always broken in the laundry room. The stairs leading up to the second floor apartments are loose. Beware of walking on the grass-they run the sprinklers so much it turns into quicksand and swallows up your shoes with you still in them.
7. Smells, Stains and Rug Burns Oh My! When we first moved in there were large stains in the cabinets, burns on the rug, black scrapes on the walls and a strange smell that hung in the air. And we were told we had the MODEL apartment!!
8. We got a flier that stated someone was breaking into people's cars and destroying property. Viva La Archstone!
9. When you get a chance, look around and see how many apartments are vacant(there are many) and notice the smiles on people's faces when their leases are up and they are moving out. We soon will be some of these happy people.
10. Rent at Archstone: $1250. Hassles and Aggravation: Too many to count. Finally moving out of Archstone: PRICELESS!!!!!!!!!!
