WARNING! EVERYTHING IN THE PREVIOUS REPORTS IS TURE. ON TOP OF ALL THAT THEY TRIED TO SCAM US OUT OF MONEY. LUCKILY WE KEPT COMPLETE DOCUMENTATION, IF WE HADN'T WE WOULD HAVE BENN OUT SEVERAL HUNDRED. WE ARE BREAKING OUR LEASE EARLY FOR SO MANY REASONS I COULD NOT LIST THEM ALL. I WOULD HIGHLY ADVISE ANYONE THINKING ABOUT MOVING IN HERE TO RECONSIDER. PERSONALLY I WOULD LIKE TO PURSUE LEAGAL ACTION BUT DO NOT KNOW HOW TO GO ABOUT IT, OR ON WHAT GROUDS IF ANY I MYSELF OR OTHERS IN THE SAME SITUATION HAVE. We are also breaking our lease early. We also have MANY reasons why we are leaving: Parking is just awful and the Archstone staff does NOTHING about it. Repairs are never ever fixed, you need to make numerous requests. The most frustrating thing is talking to one staff person one day and asking them about repairs and then they tell you they will handle it right away. Then days later when still nothing is fixed, you will call back and speak to the SAME staff person who says, "Are you a resident here? Wait, what repair are you are talking about again? What building do you live in again? Oh ok I'll get someone RIGHT on it." Then of course days pass and nothing gets fixed and you go through the same drill with the same retarded office staff person again. There are many safety hazards here as well--also which are not fixed or getting fixed no matter how many times you ask. The stairs leading up to the second floor apartments are very loose. You can feel them wobbling while you walk on them. I have asked the Archstone staff numerous times to come and fix them, telling them it was a safety hazard, especially to unsuspecting new tenants(especially the ones carrying furniture) or visitors who are not aware the steps are loose. The Archstone staff keep saying they are going to fix it and yet nothing is done. Welcome to Archstone Walnut Creek! If you are smart, you are reading this and other reviews now before you sign a lease-you will save yourself many future headaches. For every day since I moved in here, I wish I had known about this site before signing my lease. Everything written in the reviews are true and sadly not at all exaggerated.

You can go to another archstone, it's that simple. That's what I did instead of breaking the contract.
