First of all it's a good location for people who uses BART. Other then that it's not anything special. The flooring and walls are very thin. Recently, I had to compliant about the sex noise that my upstairs neighbor was making at all hours of the night and day. There's not much of a sense of community, because Archstone is so greedy they raise the rents so fast that all the good tents are forced out. Instead they rent it out to people who seems to be a bit trashy and shady. During this time I've seen police raid the apartment unit right next to the Cherry Lane mail boxes. Kinda scary to see police armed with semi automatics after a long day work. Another time I saw cops taking away man in handcuffs. About 8 months ago the management posted a notice about a police investigation that was being conducted on a tent. It's a little distrubing don't you think. It really hit close to home when my coworker/neighbor had their bike stolen right off of their patio, and of course the management did little to reassure them. Don't you think they should do background checks before they let someone live here''' I can go on and on but I degress. Finally, the place is extremely expensive. If you're into outrageous rent increases this is the place for you. I started out paying 1,045 and now after 11 months the rent is 1,145 plus 55.00 utilities, making it a grand total of 1,200. Isn't it insane that they can do that!'! I hope all of you reading this will use your brain before coming over here. Stay were you're at, and save some money and buy a house.
