Eh...

With this apartment being the first I've lived in now that I'm on my own, I've found Archstone to be just OK. The guy downstairs plays music way to loudly and the people upstairs sound like they practice running marathons in their living room, but that's just apartment life. Parking is horrible because I have to park between to a giant van and a pole that holds up the parking structure and have already scratched and damaged my new car trying to fit in and not hit the van.
Some of the doors in the apartment won't stay fully open and there is a very bad spider problem (where the hell do they all come from!') but that's just about it. I've renewed my lease and plan on doing so again. I BART to work so I walk to the station - from my front door to the top of the station platform in 7 minutes.
I've had no problem with management and the few neighbors I've met were pretty delightful. There are some more small things I could complain about, but they're really not management's fault and there's not much that can be done about it. I suppose I've just realized that ---- happens and no one likes a whiner. If you're looking to live life in luxury, keep on looking', but if your just looking to live, Archstone Walnut Creek is fine.
