My boyfriend and I have lived at Castlewoods for about 9 months now and love it! While the apartments are a little old, they are well maintained and the cost is really great for what you get. We have a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom with cathedral ceilings. The staff here is awesome and every time we have needed something fixed someone has been up here ASAP. In fact, one day our disposal broke and the next day we already had a brand new one installed. My boyfriends office is relocating so we have to move to the other side of the bay and after looking at other apartments it has just solidified what a great deal this one was. You can also walk to the BART, all the shops (which there are many of) and even the movie theater from here! It is really a great place to live! It is also definitely worth paying the extra money to be on the 3rd floor!
