I?ve lived here for about 2.5 yrs and it?s quiet(generally), safe, and centrally located. Heather Farms down the road is a huge plus. It?s a bit too far of a walk to downtown but is definitely an easy drive. It?s about a $5 cab ride from downtown on those nights when you?ve had one too many drinks.

Over the past 6 months there?s been alot of renovations that have at times been inconvenient but because I can see the results, it?s been worth it.

The cabinets are painted in white (good thing), the carpets are OK, though like the kitchen counter stains very, very easily. They repainted and washed all the patios and balconies. Those with balconies though can't water their plants very well because the balcony slats are wide enough to let water drip down to your neighbor's patio. Kind of pain if you like to garden. The gym and laundry facilities are well maintained.

The main pool gets a bit noisy with kids and adults on the wkends and management does little, if anything at all, to minimize the noise level after 10pm. This has all been in the past six months. It's usually not that bad though. Prior to that it was very quiet, and very peaceful.

The clubhouse hosts a number of get togethers and I've never had a problem with loud noise, trash afterwards, etc. as it?s been managed very well. It?s also a great option to have.

There have been a number of incidents involving car vandalism in the last 6 mths (hmmm...seems to be a pattern here). There isn?t security on the premises but the vandalism isn?t near as bad as other apartment complexes I?ve heard about. I've got a ragtop so I'm now more paranoid about hearing noises in the parking lot late in the evenings. Guest parking within the complex is next to nothing but there?s plenty of street parking available.

The maintenance staff are great, very nice and very friendly. Although I much preferred the original management staff, the current staff is responsive, generally accomodating and very pleasant to deal with.

My only ----- is that cable modem is not available in this area! The complex has something similar to a dsl line which is specific to the complex but I think that the contract hasn?t been renewed therefore it?s no longer an option.

Overall, I like it here. It?s pretty, peaceful, safe, and close to everything I need. I?d recommend it to a friend, and more importantly, I?m going to renew my lease for the 2nd time.
