Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2008

I've finally moved out after posting the 2/12/2007 review. There were something like 6 managers in the two years I lived there. FPI's accounting is so bad that my rent check was credited to someone else's apartment two different times, and I got eviction warnings on my door three different times. The renovations continue and the city building inspector is now involved as it is a health and safety issue. While the building continues, big piles of debris, loose nails, furniture, old paneling and god-knows-what-else get left in a big pile in the middle of the yard. Once the debris is finally cleaned up (months later), the yard remains full of nails and screws so don't ever go barefoot if you're foolish enough to move in. There is no grass because the sprinklers don't work.
FPI made an arithmetic error on my final move-out form and denied me my entire deposit (of course) plus $1. Then they had the audacity to send me a bill for the remaining dollar. The current manager doesn't consider this a priority and occasionally returns my calls to tell me that she's looking into it. It's two months later and I'm still trying to get this resolved.
Bottom line: have your pepper spray handy as you look for housing. If you meet with an FPI representative, douse them properly, aiming for the eyes and delicate mucous membranes. Then run for your life!

this is not true! the apartments are almost full and they are trying their best to get everything done, they have done an excellant job, this person probably does not follow the rules of the apartments so they have to say something bad about them.

hahahah sorry but you're full of it. I lived at creekside terrace for over a year and it was the worst complex ever. Stairs and railings were falling apart. The managaer Ina was amazing but she ended up leaving a few months after I moved there and was replaced by an unprofessional Manager named Deanne. The place was always a mess. Stairs and railings were falling apart all over the complex. The parking lot was a nightmare. I had neighbors who were selling drugs. There was a huge drug raid in one of the apartments by the laundry room.
Really suprising for walnut creek. I would've expected that from a complex on monument in concord but not in walnut creek.
I was so happy the day that I moved out. It was the best decision ever. Not sure who's managing the complex now but if it's someone new all the better. Good luck and I hope someone is able to turn it all around.

"There are a lot of nice kids who play rambunctiously on the grounds."
That must be a joke. The kids are noisy, rude and destroy as much of the property as they can. They run along the second story aisles and rip off pieces of wood where they can. They scream as much as possible and have no care in the world, just like their parents. The summer is the worst. I don't mind kids at all, but not these kids; they're from the Village of the Damned

Manager Ina Dooley was "amazing"? You've got to be kidding! We lived there from 1993 through 2004 and ended up calling her "I'ma Dumby" because she was so incompetent.

I agree with the above. Her nephew Jonny was the mait guy here for over a year and he was drunk and stoned all of the time, infact the drug raid at the property was his apartment!!! and they still didn't fire him!! Worse yet the manager Lisa was giving his roomate blowjobs in the parking lot!!!!! this place make the rest of the neighood look bad abd good all at the same time.
