OK to start but going downhill

I really liked this complex when I first moved here. Then the problems started. We had an ant problem (though we do not leave ANY food around). The ants just kept coming though they found no food.
The next problem is the A/C. As you can imagine in Walnut Creek, the temperature can get warm at times. The A/C has never really worked properly, sporadic at best. You would hear the A/C, but no cold air would come out. Very strange.
Also, we had a big problem with the water. Our water lost all heat for over 24 hours. Not only did this happen to us, the whole building's water heater was out. We were not told why, and when we called the office numerous times, there was no answer and no reply. This was really the breaking point for us and now we are moving to a place based only on the lack of management.
Just so everyone knows, Monticello Manor has also just been bought out. Unfortunately, the new office manager seems to have some trouble with English. Also, when I call, she does NOT answer and only returns calls after a couple of days.
This place is nice on the surface, the price is right, but the problems abound.
Know what you are getting into!
