Living at Eastwood Apartments was an awesome experience. There is great management (even with SPM) and some awesome tenants who live there. The place was nicely sized and pretty affordable for Walnut Creek (about $1000 for a 2/1). We had a great balcony, and the units below actually have yards.

My only complaints were that the walls were built too thin. You could hear a lot from one room to another, and from one apartment to another. So sometimes the most menial noise was too loud. So if you play the tv or music loud, prepare to turn it down. Also, the parking was bad, because there is only one covered spot per apartment and the rest is first come first serve. But they implement that it is tenant parking only after a certain hour, so guests car will and have been towed if they are parked there. The nearest guest parking is on the street around the corner, but at least tenants are guaranteed spots at night.

All in all, my time here was precious, and the only reason I moved was because I relocated to another city. They were fair on returning the deposit and management acted quickly in all manners.
