I lived at The Keys for 11 years, and was sad to go, but I got in financial touble and had to vacate. I still look for places in there, but now that the units are selling for $3-400K, plus the home owners dues were upped to $400 average from $250, rentals are being priced out of the market. I lived in two units in two buildings, identical floorplan 2-2, 950 S.F. The living area was a great size, but at the expense of bedroom space. As I recall the master was 11.5'x13' and the guest was 10.5x12, not exactly roomy, but tehe master had a 6x4 walk in and the guest has a full wall closet (8') I think most of the bedrooms are about this size, as these were former rentals for the young set. I always lived on the top floor and never had any noise problems (I'm actually the loud neighbor, so by problems I mean that no one called on me in either apartment. :-) Slab floors in all units. The a.c. (which is identical in every unit) was never quite adequate for my first unit, but the 2nd one was fine. They were replaced in 2004 with the roof. The grounds are very well taken care of and the complex has every amenity you could think of, even raquetball! Clean for the most part, I have heard of the car break-ins, but I have a Lexus and it never happened to me. Staff is pretty nice (except for some of the past pool "guards") Overall I would recommend if you can get one that has been upgraded. Good luck!
