We recently moved out of the Park Regency apartment and had to go through hell that maintenance puts you here when you decide to leave.
BE WARNED: If you've lived here less than 2 years you will immediately loose $80-200 for painting, at least $70 (depends of the size of the apt) for carpet cleaning and over $100 for cleaning (no matter how clean your apt is in the end). They literally have told me that "they have to charge a cleaning fee" no matter what. And it doesn't matter how clean your apt is in the end, how long you've lived here and etc.: YOU WILL BE CHARGED CLEANING FEE of at least $100!!!! They don't explain for what exactly either - just cleaning fee. So don't even bother cleaning if you're moving out, you'll loose your money anyway - guaranteed.

I agree. We paid for professional cleaning upon move-out - Merry Maids came in and went over the place thoroughly and Stanley Steemer for the carpets. Granted, our toddler had left some stains from dropping cups of juice and some of those wouldn't come out even with lots of scrubbing so we did expect to have to pay something for the carpet, but we still wound up having to pay a larger cleaning fee than expected and if we'd only waited a few more months to move out at the 2 year mark, most of those fees would have been absorbed as "regular wear and tear for 2 years". That was definitely a headdesk moment. |

Carlos the Maintenance guy owns the cleaning and Painting company and thats why he charges so much to pad his pocket.

this is SO TRUE about Carlos!!! We had the same probelm when we moved out and he - Carlos told me that his cleaning people have to get paid no matter what. So you see, you will loose your money no matter what. This is his business and he makes his money off of you. Do not move in here.
