I lived there for 6 months in 2008. They obviously have used the cheapest of everything they could possibly put in these apartments. The carpet - This stuff barely even qualifies as carpet. It is simply a mat of wool fiber that if you rub your shoe across it, you come up with a ball of wool. The appliances are the pits. Not even a light in the oven. I couldn't even use the oven because the temperature fluctuation was so great, food either burnt or undercooked. None of the units have baseboards. They have taken them out so it is easier for them to replace the wool mat.

The entire time I lived there, I dreaded coming "home" at the end of the day. Very depressing place to live. Oh yeah, someone attempted to break into my car while it was parked in the underground parking. I pointed it out to my neighbor and he just laughed and said that his vehicle had been broken into 5 times while he lived there. There is also no place for visitors to park. What little visitor parking there is, is taken up by residents parking their "other" vehicles.

So after 6 months, I moved out. My ex girlfriend cleaned the place for me and she is absolutely thorough on her cleaning. In fact, the guy that did the final walkthrough with me told me it was the cleanest one he has seen since he has worked there. Imagine my surprise today to get the notice that they were deducting $270 for cleaning the place after I moved out. Just an absolute and total ripoff.

There hasn't even been 6 months in 2008.:) And try vacuuming.. those "balls of wool" you speak of come from having a new carpet. I had these in my apartment as well, as did my friend, but we vacuumed regularly and they were gone within a month.

This place was a health hazard for me to live in. The carpet fibber problem caused constant allergies, along with the smoke from the other apartments outdoor cooking on patios (illegal btw) and pot smoke coming in almost every night. The local Sheriff does not care and will tell you to 'move out', if you complain about; pot smoke, theft, noise, harassment and management entering without cause. All in all this place should be investigated by the FBI for RICO and other federal offenses.
