These apartments looked nice and quiet when we visited it for the first time. However, when we moved in, the unit was dirty; we had to clean everything ourselves. The closet doors were broken, phone outlets were ripped. A year later the water heater broke down, leaked and ruined the carpet in the dining area, the apartment manager did a very poor job replacing it.

There is only one spot to park your car, regardless of how many cars your family might own. Usually you're stuck parking on a street, a walk away from your unit. And to top it off, one of our cars was vandalized while parked at the assigned spot. The apartment manager just shrugged her shoulders.

The current manager is very rude and unprofessional. During three years that we lived here, she is 3rd manager at the complex. She harrasses the tenats with notes placed on the windshield of your car, instead of approaching you in person.

The walkways are kept free of shrubs, but most of the lights are out and it's pitch black if you're walking after dark. x-2PE3sjUIIeetAHoKOk

Thank you very much for this information. They are advertising hard core to get people to move in (even said they have reduced the rent). Your post explains why they are so desperate!

San Marco Apartments is far from desperate. Building is full and has been. There are many happy residents that are proud to call San Marco their home.

We also had to clean our unit as well. She assured us that the last tenant left it "immaculate". After we started moving in we realised how dirty it was. Poop still on the toilet, stained carpets, dirty blinds that they promised would be cleaned. Never happened. No one even came to professionally clean the carpets after the last person moved out. And not to mention the carpet was 12-15 years old!
