I was placed in this apartment for a 3 month travel assignment. The setting is pretty with all the foliage and the babbling brooks but that also makes the apartments dark. The storage area next door to my apartment had been vandalized recently and and stuff was lying all around and doors were off their hinges. There were beer bottles on the floor too. When I reported feeling unsafe there due to the obvious vandalism and no one bothering to clean it up, I was assured it would be cleaned up the following week. 13 weeks later, no one had touched it. The parking in that neighborhood was a nightmare. No one could come over to visit because there was no place to park and I was warned about leaving my car on the street due to vandals. I came home from work at 4:30am and often found the security door from the garage to the elevator had paper stuffed in the lock so it wouldn't lock. I reported this and did not get any reassurance or resolution. The management team was not very helpful or very friendly. I loved Walnut Creek and my assignment but I would never go back to that apartment complex.
