Maybe this title will stand out after the obviously fake review from management that preceeds this one.
This place looks good from the outside, but is a complete s*** hole in reality. The management is incompitent. They forget absolutely EVERYTHING you bring up or ask of them, and try to con money from you at every opportunity.
* raise parking and rent annually, and then drop the price considerably for new commers. Anyone in a lease their right now, check the going rate for an apartment the same size as yours, and it will be considerably less.
* utilities are not only not included in the rent, but they average it with everyone on your floor. So if you live alone, or with a spouse, your garbage bill will be averaged with a family of 5 or 6 living down the hall from you.
* Given the economy, their are MANY empty apartments here due to unsatisfied tenants leaving. Only problem with that is they are being replaced with noisy, smelly, trashy, people who wouldn't have lived here before. This place is SOOOO EMPTY that they are letting trailor trash move in next door.
* NO GUEST PARKING! On top of it, when I renewed my lease, they jacked up the price of my parking space from $50 to $75 per month eventhough there are empty parking spots everywhere, because everyone is moving out.

This is a terrible place to live. Don't be fooled by the appearance from the outside. Management is well aware of these problems, and instead of fixing them, they write FALSE REVIEWS like the one preceeding this.

We are very sorry you feel that way. In my opinion, I think we are the best apartment community on the street and have very reasonable rates. Because the apartments do not have individual meters for water or gas, the bills are calculated according to square footage and number of occupants, which is as fair as we can possibly make it. I apologize if this was not explained to you ahead of time. We do not intend to mislead or deceive anyone. The market determines the rates, so in the past few years, all apartments in the bay area experienced increased rates. Only in the last year has the demand dropped and caused the rates to come back down. We are still at around 95% occupancy which is by no means empty. We have not changed any policies in our application process and there does not seem to be any change in the overall quality of people that live here. The overwhelming majority of the residents here are happy here and very friendly. Parking is very difficult on the street and one of the challenges in this area. Every apartment is assigned one parking space and we do offer additional assigned parking for $75/month. This is limited to availability and can be added or cancelled at any time during your stay here. We do not write fake reviews, and if we did, we wouldn't be doing a very good job by the looks of this review site. Try to keep in mind that someone who may have had a bad experience is much more likely to be emotionally charged up enough to take the time to write a review. Someone who is happy will most likely not think to come on to this website. It is important to research your new apartment and I invite you to call or visit our office if you have any questions.
