DON'T EVEN CONSIDER MOVING HERE!!! It may look nice on the outside and with the DOCTORED PICTURES they post, but my boyfriend and I have lived here for 10 months and it has been slowly going down the crapper!! Here are our main issues:

It's August and for the last THREE months we have been without an AC.I have made numerous calls to the leasing office about both of these things. The younger girl in the leasing office is nice, but I don't think she ever puts in the work order because NO ONE EVER COMES TO FIX WHAT NEEDS TO GE FIXED. We've even written the main CARMEL PARTNERS agency and even they NEVER RESPONDED.

The other lady in the leasing office is RACIST.One time an ice cream man was near our building while she was showing a unit. As soon as she saw him she yelled at him, "Get out of here. You know you're not allowed here!" .....she's white, he's mexican....what do you think'

They make you pay for a laundry card - for their TERRIBLE laundry rooms. One washer, one dryer....and about 3 buildings (approx 4 units in each building) have to share this one room. The laundry rooms are always dirty and the dryers never dry on the first cycle. So you're paying for a laundry card, plus for each time you use the machines. For as much as they're charging on rent, laundry should be FREE.

Their 'work out room' consists of only 2 treadmills, 1 weights machine and a TV. I'd rather not pay the extra $200-or whatever they tag on to the rent for this room and have them get rid of it. It's totally useless.

Unless you can work it so that you don't pay the full rent their ads post...and if you're SUPER desperate...DO NOT MOVE INTO LAYETTE PARC WEST COVINA!!!
