I lived here over a year ago and only lived there for 5 months. However, I can tell you that everything about the place was at best mediocre. The apartments were poorly made with outdated bathrooms, heating, and air conditioning. Rooms were small and the location was horrible. I had never lived anywhere that pizza deliveries could not be made to the area because of the crime rate. Domestic violence and a myriad of other story worthy occurrences brought police officers by on a regular basis. In fact a police car could usually be found each night perched next to the train tracks that ran directly behind the apartments... and yes the tracks were still active.

Parking was bad as well. You have to pay for a spot and often have to be on a waiting list and like everything dealing with the management it is a time consuming and ridiculous process.

The poor accommodations were only surpassed by the paranoid and often fascist business practices of the management company. I recently bought a house and had a less invasive background/ credit check and less hassle purchasing than my experience renting from a second rate operation like Meadowbrook.
