The PLAZA WESTWOOD, floods when it rains. It's happened 4 times this year. Too cheap to seal the walls. They pull the rugs back and we have to walk on the concrete with strips of tacks along the wall (did I mention we have a child) for a week till it dries out, then they clean the rug and put it back! I have holes in my ceiling and a dripping fire sprinkler for 5mths. Apparently, the sprinklers went off several times on previous tenants, ruining all their belongings so they turned the sprinklers off all together! There is mold growing on my ceiling. Other apartments have similar conditions. The fire deparment recently reported them for safety violations associated w/ fire hazards. Now they are being forced by the City of LA to fix the sprinklers and they gave us (2)garment boxes to pack our stuff ans put it in the livingroom, so work crews can tear down the entire ceiling and re-drywall while we live there. Guess if they can collect rent while they do major demolition why not'! NOTHING suprises me about this place...and they call it a LUXURY apartment. I can't believe they are actually getting away with renting these apartments out. Did I mention the fruit fly infestation' Should be condemned. In an earthquake this place will collapse.

Fruit flies? hmmm . . . . . are you sure? We had termites -- major infestation all around the base of the living room slider. I would guess that's what you were seeing.
