I just moved out from the Plaza in June 2008. The company is ridiculous. First, when I got my refund of the security deposit ($700), it's not my full $700. It's only $145.86. Why' They charged me $135 for cleaning (I cleaned the apartment myself, but not to their "standard," $275 for the re-painting the room, shared-area utilities $72.04, and one-day prorate rent $72.10 for July 1st even though we moved out at the end of June. I've been asking them to refund my one-day rent but they told me the manager resigned. Nobody else can help me. It's very frustrating to deal with them.

If you have too much money, then go ahead to rent their apartment. They suck!

This should serve as a warning to all current tenants: no matter what you do -- no matter how nice you leave the apartment -- no matter how "good" of a tenant you've been . . . . you WILL NOT get the majority of your "security deposit" returned.

I moved out Aug 31, 2008. They tore the entire ceiling down in my apartment while I was still living there! The work crew said they were told my floor was vacent. They showed up everyday with masks on because of the dust....and I had to sleep there! I don't think it was even legal for them to rent the apartment at the time, but they cashed my $2,600 rent check. Then they had the nerve to charge me for cleaning and painting, after their work crew trashed the place! They told me I owe them money! I tried to report them to the housing department. Apparently, they have a condo tax code, so there is a loop hole. DO NOT SIGN A LEASE WITH THESE PEOPLE UNLESS YOU ARE DESPERATE AND CAN'T GET APPROVED ELSEWHERE.
