I had a 2 bedroom with a roommate on a 12 month lease but 3 months into it we had to break it because of a job offer elsewhere...and i'm glad it happened. just one of the many stories: during this last heat wave of May my air conditioner broke (again). My girlfriend tried to open up the patio door when all of a sudden at least 20 pincher bugs fell from the top of the door in front of her. So now no air and I cant open a the patio door, thats great. Try calling for service "we'll send someone tomorrow" and of course 5 days later no one has come. Back to the pincher bugs though, my girlfriend's sister refuses to come over because some people get chills when you see them all over the walls. but besides the horrible service from the horrible staff, things never getting fixed, all the notes on my door about what I can't put in my windows, horrible parking arrangements for visitors, all the different kinds of bugs (roaches and ants are normal, but pincher bugs and crazy lookin spiders...), and the fire hazard of all those dried weeds in the back of the complex, besides that stuff it was okay. But seriously if you want to live in a place where the tenant does not come first (in the fall they are supposed to be remodeling the interior of the units while tenants are still living there, so they are going to be asking people to leave for at least a month, thanks for the consideration) and a place that is going to be under a class action lawsuit for mold, then come to avalon. i'm just glad I left when I did. SPEND YOUR $$ ELSEWHERE...
