I applied to live in this complex, and was up against the clock in wanting an answer. After more than 24 hours since applying and several calls to the on-site manager (she was a champ, by the way) who said an answer would be forthcoming in 24 hours, she said that the "office" had still given her no answer as to the application.

Unacceptable.

The complex is not really worth writing home about from the looks of it anyway, so I find it hard to believe that there was some choosiness involved. I truly can't say whether it is good or bad since I didn't get a day to live there.

I had no other problem with another complex who decided the application by the next morning after I had given it to them in the late evening before. But then I suppose you have to think that property management done properly is a full-time job and not just a hobby. I get the impression that the owners consider rental property a hobby.

i lived at walnut woods apartment 2 years ago (moved out last year --thank god!). the manager was never in her office. she has two offices and apartment housing and was always at the other one instead of the one at 514 community lane. she could never be reached either. there were so many things broken inside the apartment that needed to be fixed but the manager always said, "okay, I'll send a maintenance guy out to fix it right away." hell no, she was just a freaken liar. what a blond bimbo liar! when i finally moved out of the apartment i didn't get my deposit of $500 back and was charged extra of $160 for carpet cleaning. before i moved out a couple of months early, i called the manager and asked her what i needed to do to get my deposit back. she told me to submit a letter to her, so before i moved out i did what she asked of me. so then she tells me, "oh, your suppose to send us a letter and it needs to be dated 30 days before you move out." what a -----! i hate her. i hope she burns in hell!
