Getting trashy around here

My family moved here because of the quiet,(not including the trains - which you do get used to) family friendly, well maintained, clean and overall nice atmosphere.
We never had a problem with getting things fixed or situations with neighbors.
Until recently.
The complex was sold sometime in January, I believe.
Since then, it has become littered with garbage, broken glass, cigarette butts and dog poop.
Several times, we have attempted to talk to management only to find the office door locked and a sign on the door saying they would return at such and such time.
Go back later, and the time has changed on the sign!
When we filled out our application, there were strict rules for leasing, IE: nobody under 21 without a co-signer, no criminal history, etc.
The residents were upstanding citizens for the most part.
No crime, no vandalizing, no graffiti, no loud parties all night long...
We loved it.
It has become just the opposite.
I am losing sleep over the noise coming from the neighbors.
Not to mention, being fearful of them for simply asking them to keep the stereo/home entertainment system below ten million decibels.
The looks I have been getting makes me want to carry a loaded weapon with me just to take out the trash.
Bottom line, the new management has obviously discarded any background checks, screening process or common sense when leasing to new tenants.
I am not basing this solely on my own neighbors, but from what I am seeing all throughout the complex.
This is one family who will NOT be renewing a lease.

The problem, Christi, is that your criteria is so low that only serial killers are exempt from living there. The grounds are littered with garbage; property is being vandalized; and apartments are being broken into. Even the Arvada Press listed it as one of the worst places for car theft according to police records (check the April or May 2008 issues for proof). The staff that is there now isn't even the same staff that was there in March 2008; which says something about the turnover since that staff had only been there for perhaps a year and a half. You can say what you want to Christi, but the place is not fit for anyone other than gangsters!

Not to mention the way Arvada Village " Extorts" money from tenants leaving that trashy place. I have yet to get my security deposit back, and I'll be damned to pay $20 bucks for ------- drip pans, and a carpet that was damaged due to YOUR air conditioner! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone...
