My fridge blew up 3 days ago and the management is refusing to repair/replace.
The reason is that the property is for sale and they are squeezing every last penny out of this rat hole before they liquidate it.
The electrical is bordering on dangerous and it is just a matter of time before someone gets seriously injured.
And if you want something from maintenance you better get ready to wait - the maintenance guys couldn't find their way out of a paper bag... if they even bother showing up at all.
The last manager (there have been three in the last 6 months) was fired becasue she spent some $$$ on a maintenance problem - owner is strictly against that.
Dog poop is EVERYWHERE.
Just got a letter on the door this afternoon informing everyone in the complex that we have to remove our cars from the parking lot TOMORROW by 2PM or else we will be towed. Less than 24 hours notice... and there is no place to park your car. What are you supposed to do?

I don't even live there and I even know how bad it is! I live across the street and I see the cops go in there daily and usually come out with someone arrested. The manager is a WITCH! I went in there because I was walking my dog on the trail next to the apartments, and dogs are NEVER on their leashes, and one dog took out after my dog. I asked the "owner" if he had a leash for that dog, and he completely ignored me. So, I went to the manager and told her (and the maintenance man, and a few other people, who were BS'ing and doing absolutely nothing) about one of their tenants having a vicious dog off leash. The manager looked straight at me (I was obviously interrupting their playtime!), and said, "did the dog step one foot onto the path?" I said, "yes, he was trying to attack my dog!" Then, the maintenance man chimed in and asked me "well, where were YOU, and do yo LIVE HERE?" I said I was on the path walking my dog, and no, I didn't live there, but I can walk there anytime I want as it does not say "no traspassing, nor is it a gated community! Then, the manager said, "well, if the dog was on the path, even one foot on it, it's NOT OUR PROBLEM, CALL THE COPS!" So I did, too bad they couldn't take HER to the pound!
