Used to be a really nice place, then changed managers and maintenance people. Hallways were always cleaned on weekends and sidewalks shoveled and cleared, trash picked up, but not since before Thanksgiving 2006 have that happened. Our rent increased and then things went downhill.
Hallways cleaned once in awhile, trash all over the place especially by the back apartments, ice remained on the sidewalks, etc. (oh but the last newsletter was REALLY nice, but it had only one article pertaining to Aspen Point where as the previous manager made sure that things were in there about the community which made me feel like they cared - this one is just advertising and cold like a huge corporation that does not remember your name "number please"); the manager has said on more than one occasion I can't look at the entire place all of the time-why not'!' I say isn't that what a manager is supposed to do'
If something is wrong they usually are on top of it but I have heard complaints from other residents about not responding in a timely fashion.
Our water bill just about doubled in a month.
I would only recommend this complex if you cannot afford anything else.
Not sure if we are staying or not...hopefully things will change
