Great Experience

I just don't get all of these negative comments regarding Aspen Point. My family and I have lived here since Feb. 2003 and will continue to live here and very happily! Our office Manager, Kelly, is always responsive to any questions or complaints we have. Shawn and Novak always take care of maintenance problems within 24 - 48 hours unless it is an emergency and then problems are handled immediately and are fixed correctly the first time, every time! Occasionally we have inconsiderate neighbors who get too loud with their voices or music...if we know them we speak to them directly and they are always cooperative. If we don't know the person causing the problem we contact our security patrol or the local police dept. and they always respond quickly after hours. Most of the time our neighbors are respectful of each other and our building is relatively quiet. We do have children living here and when they decide to play in the halls we tell them to go home or go outside and they do. I recently moved my mother into the complex so we could be closer to each other and she too is very happy with her new home. Rents are reasonable compared to other places and since our utilities are paid through the complex they are alot less expensive than out in town. My ONLY complaint about this place is the new offsite managers/owners. They tie up our onsite team so much with inspections, conference calls etc. (conference calls every Monday morning! The office is closed completely every Monday until at least 11am, sometimes longer depending on how much they feel they have to go over. After being closed most of the weekend, this would be the logical time for tenents to come in with questions, complaints, maintenence requests etc. but unfortunately Kelly is unavailable. The office is also closed the last afternoon of the month so accounts can be closed out. You can't even check on your total rent amount due because offsite management has not made that info available to the office yet!) If offsite management would just let Kelly and the maintenance staff do the job they are hired to do instead of micromanaging everything I bet everyone would be happy with the GREAT job they are doing. As it is, I am surprised that they have managed to continue doing such a great job!
