My experience at the Aventine has gone from bad to worse. My boyfriend and I chose to live here because the apartments are large and reasonably priced, but the buildings (stairwells, hallways, common areas) are filthy and the property is poorly managed.



For starters, the carpet in our unit has never been clean. The toilet runs constantly, although it has been repaired twice. There are cigarette burns on the countertops and in the carpet, and the vertical blinds are in bad condition. The washers and dryers are expensive and are often out of order, or left in unsuitable condition by the previous user. (Lots of the tenants here seem low class and lack respect for others.)



There are several broken down cars sitting in the parking lot that have not moved for months. The security gate at the entrance is almost always broken, allowing anyone to gain access at any time.



If you are a person who takes pride in where you live, don?t move in here.
