Pretty good with some bad points

I lived here for 2.5 years and had no problems at all. Maintenance was prompt and very friendly, fixing extra stuff when needed. I disfunctional dishwasher was replaced same day. Very little noise traveling between apartments. I could sometimes hear someone in the apartment above me but rarely anyone else.
However, in dealing with management in contract negotiations was a very big hassle. They were rude and unbending. I tried to negotiate terms that were doable for both of us, but it was impossible. Also, the area isn't very safe. I was harassed by another renter on a couple occasions. When I complained about it they said another girl had had similar complaints but they refused to do anything about it. But if you live so you don't have to deal with the leasing office EVER, you're ok. Also, another lady was mugged in the parking lot just the other day in broad daylight.

COME ON, Chick!!! The Aventine leasing agents are not in a position to NEGOTIATE a lease contract. The contracts are set forth by the management company and the leasing agents have no say as to what goes into or comes out of a contract. If you want to negotiate your terms BUY A HOUSE!!! Obviously, since you've been at the Aventine for 2.5 years, changing the lease to get whatever it was you wanted wasn't that big of a deal to you...you were probably just trying to be cheap! Our experience here has been wonderful. Everyone we've dealt with in the leasing office is a dream to work with! As far as safety goes, I've never felt safer in Denver/Aurora as I do at the Aventine. I plan on renewing my lease!

Right. You enjoy this wonderful "safe" community. This place is a dump. Everything about it is awful. Anyone wanting to lease here has problems.
