The apartments we were shown were nice, bright and clean... the apartment we were given seemed alright at first, however we have had nothing but problems. First of all, the roof leaks. Badly. Every time it rains, we have water dripping down the wall. This causes old animal urine smell in the wall to make our aparment almost unbearable. Rather than fixing the problem, maintenence came in and removed our carpet, they have still not replaced it (and wanted us to pay for new carpeting because they couldn't find a swatch to match). The gate doesn't work 90% of the time. There are kids everywhere, unsupervised and playing in the garage, in the street, in the gym, and in the pool. All hours, you can hear screaming in the parking lot. All hours you can hear people slaming their doors and arguing (violently some times) in the hall way. Last year there was a prostitution ring bust there. People let their dogs go whereever they want (including hall ways and elevators) and just last week, I had to step over a dirty diaper in the main hall to get down to my car. Oh - and people will park in your garage space and management will not do anything about it. And they constantly shut off the water without warning, the heat is on in the hallways and it is July - which has the effect of creating a sauna and causing you to run your a/c constantly to keep the apartment temperature at around 80 degrees. We are leaving as soon as the lease is up. Don't rent here. Ever.
