Aventine Apartments

The WORST From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/30/2008 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008   I have lived at The Aventine for 1.5 years in 2 different apartments and both were bad. The roof leaks all the time and it took weeks to get it fixed. I live on the first floor now and my toilet has broke 13 times in less than a year. The tank leaks and has flooded my apartment 13 times not one time has the carpeting been replaced. The former tenants had a male cat who sprayed and now thanks to all of the floods in here my apartment smells like cat urine. I was out of town the last time the toilet broke (a week ago) and nothing has been fixed. All they did was take up the padding and put a fan on it - left the urnine soaked carpet in and have not been back since. I have one working bathroom and have to leave all of the windows open thanks to mold and cat urine. I will not pay another dime rent here and will sue for back rent as this apartment has become a health danger. Another problem is they don't empty the trash bins so it all spills into the hallway - including dirty diapers - nice! If you live here take pictures as I have done and go to small claims court!!!!!! I also gave up the garage 6 months ago and came home 2 weeks ago to find a 3 day notice on my door for garage rent! HUH' They forgot I turned in my remote and no longer use it!
