I out of this dump 2 months ago. At first it was all that was advertised. Until the new management came in and the trash over flowed from the chutes, dog crap filled the lawns, stairs, and parking lot. In the building I lived in, a girl was raped in the stairwell, my neighbors were drug dealers and users. They smoked SO much weed, the smell would seep through my walls. Great for someone raising a family! The cars in the parking lot were getting broken in to. Security.,..WHERE' To top it off, my rent was raised $400.00. Sorry but I don't know too many appartments worth $1200! (it is dirty, trashy, no swimming pools, rude management) The new management is gutting all the apartments to "remodel". HA HA at the old tenant's expense. When I moved out, the apartment was in excellent condition...WHY THE HELL DID THEY CHARGE ME $1000 to replace the carpet''''''

Glad I found this post as we had the same problem when we moved out of Aventine Apartments. They are charging us $930 replace the carpet. I was shocked when I got the bill in the mail. Now they are threatening me with collection if I do not pay up. The management or lack there of was just crap. We went half the winter with the heater broken, we ended up buying portable heaters for each room. At the end of the lease they sent up a nice letter saying we would love you to stay and check out the new rent at 1100/mo when we were only paying 834/mo. The security was a joke. They claim to have a gated community but that gate was maybe used once or twice in the year I lived there. This place is not even worth checking out.
