My husband and I moved in about 2 years ago. We didn't have too many problems in the begining. Noise was an issue and the maintinence staff never seemed to fix anything or if they did, it would take a few days. Still, we made a home of what we had. Then, about a month ago my husband and I got a dog. We paid the 250 dollar deposit(which is NOT refundable by the way)and everything seemed normal. Then about a week after we paid the deposit we started getting notices that we had to pay more for water useage even though we had allready paid our rent and water for the month. Soon, every few days we would get one of these notices saying we had to pay 10 dollars all the way up to as much as 25 dollars. We had a problem with our toilet constantly running water and the management has never fixed it. We have been asking for the past 2 months; even the apartment manager herself saw it and said she would put in an order right away to get it fixed before the city inspections, witch were about 2 weeks ago. Then, about 3 weeks ago we got a notice on our door saying that we could not re-new our lease due to issues with our dog. Yet, the property is littered with animal feces everywhere. Cambrian is NOT pet friendly. We are moving at the end of this week and we are happy. The mangement also lied to us about our neighbors below us when we had re-sighned a lease with them last year. They said we had an older gentleman below us and they were putting him in our building because it is the quitest. But,we soon found out that there never was an old man below and instead there was a family of about 5 or 6 people in a 1 BEDROOM apartment! We have noticed that there are a lot of very big families living in these 1 bedroom apartments witch is ILLEGAL. I would NOT recommend Cambrian. Now they want 650 dollars a month for this apartment and that is a joke because everything is outdated and old and nothing ever gets fixed. Spend your money on a good complex, not this place. Please don't move here; I wouldn't want anyone else to go through the hell that we have.
