Where do I start' Well first off I'm not much of a complainer, but I'm so disappointed that I'm locked into a lease in this place and don't want others to be in the same position.
When I visited the property in summer of 08, I fell in love with the model that was shown to me-it was well decorated, very spacious, came with a washer/dryer, all units recently remodeled and cheap! The staff in the office seemed very friendly and it was close to my job & school so it all made sense!
The week of my move in it all fell apart..I had a HUGE nest of bee's that made a home in my stairway(which is made up of old run down wood)and being that I am SEVERLY allergic to bee's rendered a potential problem. I brought my problem to the office and she pulled out the binder for the "bug guy" to address(next week of course, after all anaphylactic shock isn't a huge problem right'!!) well just when she started writing down my info in the binder the phone rang, so like anyone else would of, I peeked at the other tenents issues...yikes! Bed bugs below me, mice accross the way, and even "unidentified bugs" two down. I immediatly knew I made a bad decision by signing the lease, even balled to my bestfriend telling her how I should have stayed where I was at. I could go on and on but I will just sum it up- this place it totally ghetto! People standing outside there apartments in groups smoking joints, herds of little kids running around unattended(and swearing like sailors of course), in talking to a neighbor one morning headed for work she asked "did you hear about the random shooting out back last night", car windows broken in the parking lot, came home one night after a long day at work to a group of -------- at the bottom of my stairs drinking jager and starring my down intensly, water bill is through the roof(in calling the office to ask about it they said "yeah everybody says that") one of my personal favorites is the way the water temp. will burn your skin off in the shower if someone flushes in the building! My husband and I make a game of it now-seeing who has the least amount of scalding water burns on our body at the end of the week!) Today I had to call down to the office b/c I had no hot water telling the leasing lady (who is new b/c they have the WORST turnover I have EVER seen) my current situation her reply to it was "Well we fixed it over an hour ago so it should be working" me-"well it isn't and as a matter of fact I think it's getting colder as it runs and I have plans in a hour!" her reply "well I guess you will be taking a cold shower!"
Good times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!So my advice to you is... you pay what you get for, so your better off going to a better area it will save you a huge headache in the end if you can afford it! I know I learned my lesson! Hope this helps you guys!! ;-)
