Well, I've lived here for about a year. When I first moved in their was a broken light fixture, I asked for them to come and fix it, but to make sure to call me first. I sleep during the day, and often take sleeping pills. About 2 weeks later I woke up to a maitance man in my bedroom! So much for schedualing an Apointment. The Exact same thing happened with the fire inspector. I live over a pot head, and every night my unit stinks of pot, disgusting. I have only seen 5 roaches since I moved in, I think they come from the plumbing. The sink smells like a dead squirell, and the attic is infested with live ones... who are slowly dieing of Abspestos poisoning. Little Messothelioma cancer squirrells. Someone ripped the front door off of the building and they broke and vandalized the washing machine... the ONLY washing machine. The manager never comes into work.
Oh ya and their is the flier to let us know that their have been multiple burgleries and car break ins.

The thing about service people coming in unnoticed is true. I was sleeping once and around 10am I heard a loud lady knocking on the door. I was waking up to go open the door ( I work during the night) and the lady was already inside the apartment. I sleep only wearing my boxers and as I was putting my shirt on she came in and closed the door quickly and she told the other lady/guy "Oh my God there's a guy in there." And they left. And yes they have come in many times without us knowing. This one time the manager called us letting us know that she had just been in our apartment and that we qualified for a "free carpet cleaning". We got bothered due to the fact that we were never informed that people would be coming in to our building.
