Apartment from HELL

Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006
When we first moved it, I was told it was okay to paint the walls in the apartment, as long as we painted them back when we moved out. So we did, and even primed the walls when we repainted at the end of the lease. I got a bill for close to $500 over my deposit since the paint (which they supplied, mind you) "wasn't good enough" and to replace carpet that was in horrible shape when we moved in. When I went back for a walk through to dispute the charges, the mainetance guy had the nerve to point out paint covering the fixtures of the bathroom -- THAT WE DIDN'T EVEN PAINT.. it was like that when we moved in, to try and justify the charges.
Also, there was a time when out hot water heater went out, the night before we left for vacation. I called on Wednesday to report after we had left, assuming it would be taken care of by the time we returned on the following Monday. I got a call on Monday afternoon from the manager say.. "Ummm.. I just got your message today, so I was calling to see if you still needed mainetance." Yeah.. nice. So when they finally did come fix it, it broke again 2 days later.
One more thing, I have a 3 inch crease in the side of my new car from some jerk who hit it with his door in the parking lot.
Worst experience EVER.
