We moved in last summer...at first I really liked this place, the grounds were nice and most picked up after their dogs. Now, there are few people that clean up after their pets, the trail that runs to Overland High School is full of trash and poo and no one seems to care, it looks like a dump. I try not to take my dogs over there, but i have no choice as there is not very much lawn around the apts. It was fairly quiet when we first moved in or so I thought. There was a nice creek that ran in front of our apt, with a waterfall that must have disguised the noise at the pool and the apt above. They took that out this past winter, now we hear all the partying at the pool on into the middle of the night....also last summer the health department shut down it down because the staff was not putting in the chemicals. The floors of this place are paper thin....you can hear the neighbors upstairs talking, what they are watching on tv, the music they are listening to and even their alarm in the mornings. We hear every footstep they make, the toilets flush, the shower running and even when they open/close the cabinets doors and drawers. We try to be quiet for our neighbors below us, but if it is this bad for us I can only imagine what we sound like to them. Our apt was dirty when we moved in, there is mildew/mold coming through the paint in the master bath that we can not get rid of, they must have painted right over it. The parking sucks, the spots are super tiny, my compact car doesn't even fit. We thought they were reapaving the parking lots this past summer, but oh were we wrong, they just patched a couple of holes and re-tarred it. It is already starting to break up and the pot holes are returning. As for the management, they were great when we first moved in, but all the staff is now gone. I have called several times about maitainance issues, left messages for them to call me back, but no one ever did, I had to call back. In the winter they half-a$$ salt/shovel the stairs or the sidewalks, if they even get to them at all. There's only two good things about this place 1) is when you DO need something fixed inside your apt they do it the same day ans 2) the one car garage (that you share with your neighbor) is included in the low price. We can't wait until our lease is up this summer, we won't be renewing.
