Yes, the water is bad, but it no longer stains my toilets at this point.

Yes, the walls are paper thin, but the kids only scream about 3 out of 5 nights when being put to bed at 9pm, at least you can set your watch by them.

Yes, neighbors blast music with the bass set at 11, but only for a few hours each weekend, and at least it's not at midnight...often.

Yes, people drive cars with the mufflers purposefully taken off or adjusted just to annoy others or seem cool, but they don't ALWAYS rev the engine.

And yes, the windows are about as useful as putting up plastic, but the heating bill is actually less than $100.00 a month.

Other than that, the inside of my apartment is actually very nice; I haven't had any issues maintenance wise and the price is very reasonable.

The management company has changed the lease rules to a more standard lease break, one month's rent as opposed to the "million dollar" penalty based on the "market rate" rent.

I think they must have had some bad lawsuits over that one.

The fact is I have stayed in worse places, well one place worse than this.

But it still seems odd to me that Coyote Ranch is noisier than the barracks I stayed in, while in the Infantry...in Korea!
