If your planning on living here...don't. The staff seemed great when I first moved in but after a few months everything changed. And don't expect to find parking after 8pm because chances are, you will be parking a few buildings down. In the summer thats not so bad but when its cold and dark, its scary! The kids are awful here. They scream and run around with nothing to do. Why the complex doesn't have a playground for them is beyond me. I've lived here for almost 7 months and one of the 3 gates is almost always broken. People don't pick up after their pets and its awful! The walls are so thin, you can hear the kids next door fighting with their parents. During the day the apartment is fine because everyone is away at school or work but once dinner time rolls around, you better hope you have an end apartment with no one above you. I expected so much more for the money I'm paying!

I disagree with your statement regarding a playground for children. It's the parents responsibility to take care of their children, not Crestone's. The parents knew when they signed the lease that there was not a play area for children. Parents PLEASE, if you must live in an apartment comunity, take the time to teach your children RESPECT for those around them.

I agree with you Carlene but the problem is that the parents aren't taking care of their children. They run around like chickens with their heads cut off

The original poster is a fool.
Rent a garage if you don't like parking so far away. BTW, I've NEVER had an issue with parking.
You are right, people do not pick up after their pets. How is that Crestone's fault?
The gates were broken for some time and it bothered me a little but THINGS BREAK! You're looking for perfection when it simply doesn't exist.
3 years at Crestone and I have never had a problem with noise. The walls are not "thin". What does that even mean? Have you ever lived in an apartment before? Did you expect total silence in an apartment? That is just part of living in an apartment, deal with it.
CARLENE hit the nail on the head. In no way, shape or form is it Crestone's responsibility to entertain these children. It is 100% up to the parents to control their kids.

You are an fool. The ad reads "pergo style flooring". BTW, sometimes people do defend rental properties when the attacks are unfair or unfounded. It doesn't make any of us management just because we enjoy where we live. One more thing, EVERY apartment community uses discounts as marketing tools. What does "telling people who wanted a six month's lease to forget" mean?? Tell them to forget what?? Get an education, then come back and post.

tonestar, another personal attack at a poster...you never know what person's educational level is, or do you? If you want to defend a position is one thing, and I applaud your attempt, however, you discount the potential of your own crediblity when you personally attack someone...Question, is that a projective statement about education? Just asking by the way, not attacking you in anyway, is that concrete enough for you?
